Apple always has influenced trends and techniques in web design (glowing Aqua buttons anyone?). In recent years, web design has been driven by mobile App design with proprietary CSS selectors. At WWDC2015, Apple shows several clever WebKit CSS enhancements that might be useful for web design in general.
Among the new CSS goodies for WebKit browsers are the WebKitPhotoBrowser example to showcase CSS backdrop filters, scroll snap effects and force touch support works with the Safari 9 browser (part of the upcoming OS X release “El Capitan”). With a recent WebKit nightly build it’s possible to try out some of the new features.
