The one-year correspondence course “Building Biology” is certified by the Accreditation Agency of Continuing Studies in Germany. Since its inception in 1977, 6.000 architects, civil engineers, medical doctors, and others have taken the course so far. Research seminars on “Building Biology Testing Methods” and “Structural Theory” complete the course of studies.
The magazine-style website focuses on news and gives an overview on the multifaceted activities of the institute. The main website with an archive of several thousands pages is powered by webEdition, a mature Open Source web content management system. To strengthen the visibility of the brand a corporate design was developed, consistent for all online and print media of the IBN.
